Church - Internal Renovations

The interior of the church hall had never been fully renovated and the centuries old design was in need of updating. A key driver for this was that there was no insulation in the hall and the windows where the original, very thin stain glass windows. In the winter the hall would get very cold and uncomfortable for the patrons. To counteract the cold the church hall had eight radiators which were not sufficient to heat up the hall on the coldest of days.

The end result was a far warmer, neater and more inviting church hall. The church has reduced their heating bills by over 50% when compared with their bills prior to the works being completed.

The works to meet the customers requirements included:

• Fitting of new internal double glazing to help keep the heat in but also the light through the original windows
• Insulation of the entire church hall with a special type of insulation board was used which incorporates both drylining, insulation and vapour control
• Plaster, paint and make good the walls for the perfect finish.

Our experienced builders utilised heavy duty mobile scaffold towers to installing these boards up to 5 metres in height.
